The customer goes shopping and uses the mobile phone to pay for a product or service to make transactions. There is no need to carry a purse or wallet. A personalized and unique (Data Matrix) 2D bar code is generated by the bank for user recognition. When paying for something, the customer shows the idenfication code on the mobile phone to the Gavitec hardware reader. The code is scanned and the customer’s personal information transferred to bank to request payment permission. After validation, the payment is accepted and shoppings completed!

Lavasphere code reading software broadens mobile phone applications and opens up new business fields such as mobile availability verification, price comparison, product information, data collection, online shopping, and more. The customer browses through a conventional paper-based catalogue and sees a bar-coded advertised travel destination. Using the Lavaspere application on his mobile phone, the code is scanned and a direct connection to the travel agent made.
